In the Lands Where Civilisation Was Born...
Masmana’s roots extend into the Fertile Crescent of Mesopotamia, in the lands of Kilis where civilisations first flourished. This is more than a geographical region; it is an ancient landscape shaped by the traces of human history, agricultural culture, and a relationship with nature spanning thousands of years.
With its sunlight, soil, winds, and distinctive climatic conditions, Kilis possesses a strong natural character for olive cultivation. The Kilis Yağlık olive, native to this region, carries the local heritage and natural qualities of the land in every fruit.
In the lands where the Masmana Groves are located, the olive is more than an agricultural product. For generations, it has been an essential part of local tables, livelihoods, and everyday life.

A Heritage Reaching from Oylum Höyük to the Present Day
Approximately 4,000-year-old olive stones unearthed during excavations at Oylum Höyük in Kilis show that olive culture has endured in this region for thousands of years.
At Masmana, we do not see ourselves as the owners of this ancient story, but as its present-day custodians. We process Kilis Yağlık olives grown in the same land using modern production methods, with the aim of carrying this inherited culture into the future through every bottle.

A Bridge from the Past to the Future
For us, this region is not simply where we produce. It is also the source of our identity and spirit. Every drop of Masmana carries the history, culture, and abundance that this ancient land has offered to humanity.
